On March 8, people around the globe celebrated women leaders during International Women’s Day, and the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is proud to have seen the pest management industry participate in this year’s initiative.
While there are women represented in all job roles across pest management businesses, they are an anomaly in our mostly male-dominated industry. NPMA strongly believes that sharing examples of successful women in pest management roles could inspire other women to join this changing industry and help close the gap. Below is a snapshot of the pest management companies who participated in celebrating #IWD2021 #ChooseToChallenge:
On this International Women's Day, we wanted to highlight some of the remarkable accomplishments that our leader, Stacy O'Reilly, has achieved throughout her career. Stacy is dedicated to many philanthropic efforts and to uplifting and empowering other women. Stacy illustrates true leadership day in and day out, and we are proud to have her leading the charge at Plunkett's! #leadership #internationalwomensday

Women in leadership positions are often labeled into something they are usually not and misinterpreted.
Even women trying to get into leadership positions face this obstacle which often reduces their effort to the label itself.
Tag the women leaders around you to let them know that they are high above these labels.
This #InternationalWomensDay, we #ChooseToChallenge stereotypes in female leadership in Pest Management Industry #withaiesec.

Wonder, who we are?
Meet Us! We are the incredible Pakistan Urban Pest Management Industry choosing the challenge and celebrating what we believe in.
We (Women) share 49% of Pakistan’s total population while contributing in workforce development as only 24% in different sectors.
From giving the passage to girls and women to cross the crowd easily, prioritizing the women in fee deposit lines, to make this 24% contribution was beyond challenges and impactful.
Many more for rousing!
Let us dedicate this celebration to all the men out there to let us be a part of nation’s success. To everyone who let choose to challenge against societal norms.
This is just another addition of a feather in your cap!
Pakistan urban pest management industry is dedicated for the protection of public property, health and food businesses contributing much to country economy in terms of revenue, protection and employment as per its capacity.
Initially, Pakistan PMP industry is all about men but now the momentum has skewed toward female induction. They are serving the industry in various roles as HR managers, quality managers, entomologists, trainers, and project coordinators.
Women contribution as pest management professionals, quality managers, and operation managers can be idealized as 10.18% losses occurs during food production, manufacturing, processing, storage, and export due to insects, rats, and mold in Pakistan. These are the all crucial stages where women are already attending, all the need is to equip them with best training, and technology to minimize these losses ultimately strengthening the economy.
So, we can challenge the challenging world with everyone like now, and arise the Pakistan as finest.
Let’s choose to challenge!

Sending love and thanks to all the women and men that help us break barriers and promote equality for all!
Happy International Women's Day 2021! This week we are excited to be recognizing the ladies here at McCall.
Now more than ever women are leading the way in the Pest Management Industry and we can't wait to share some of their stories with you! This past year has been especially challenging as many of these women continued to excel in this essential industry while taking extra safety precautions to protect our customers, moving their offices home, and in some cases doing this in addition to home schooling children.
Daily life has certainly changed a bit since our last IWD celebration, however the women in the Pest Management Industry have met these challenges head on and continue to improve the world where we live, work, and play by protecting people, the public health, food, and property from the diseases and dangers of pests.
